❗不是 Outlook 2019「太舊」而不能用 Gmail

Outlook 2019 是支援 Gmail 的，而且支援 OAuth2 登入（即安全登入，不只是使用帳號＋密碼）— 只要版本更新到支援的 build。（Outlook 2019 早期版本有 bug，但新版已修正）

🧠 關鍵原因：OAuth2 認證流程失敗

從 2024 起，Google Workspace Gmail 已經 不再支持舊式「基本驗證」（使用者名稱 & 密碼直接登入 IMAP/SMTP）—— 所有連線必須用 OAuth2（會跳出 Google 登入頁）才能成功登入。

Outlook 的 Gmail 連線流程是：

1. Outlook 先用內建流程請求 Google 登入（OAuth2）
2. 跳出瀏覽器登入畫面 → 使用者輸入 Google 帳號密碼
3. 使用者同意授權 Outlook 存取 Gmail（要勾選權限）
4. 取得 OAuth token → 開始 IMAP/SMTP 收發信

如果在其中任一步失敗，就會出現你遇到的錯誤。

⚠️ 常見造成失敗的情況

📌 1) 在 Google 帳號授權時 沒有勾選正確權限

你需要在瀏覽器 Google 登入授權時勾選：

👉 ”Microsoft apps & services can read, send, delete, and manage your mail”

如果沒勾，OAuth token 的權限不夠，Outlook 連不上 IMAP / SMTP 伺服器。

這是 MS 官方提到的原因之一。

📌 2) Windows 憑證管理員裡面的 過期或錯誤 OAuth token

Outlook 會把 Google OAuth token 存在 Windows Credential Manager → 容易跟舊 token 卡住。

官方建議是：

✔ 到 Windows 憑證管理員

✔ 刪除所有開頭是 MicrosoftOffice16_Data:OAUTH2… 的 credential

✔ 然後重新從 Outlook 再做一次 OAuth 登入

這樣可以清掉舊 token 然後重新取得新的授權。

📌 3) Outlook 版本太舊，沒有包含 Microsoft 的 OAuth 修正版本

官方說明提到某些 build/版本之前有 bug → 在 OAuth 登入流程中失敗。

解法是：

✅ 更新 Outlook 到最新可用的 current channel build

→ 讓它內建支援最新 Google OAuth2 登入流程

（Outlook 2019 能支援，只是需要更新版本，早期 build 曾有 bug）

🛠 建議你一步步嘗試

✅ 1) 先更新 Outlook

確保 Outlook 已更新到最新版本（Current Channel 最新 build）。

✅ 2) 刪除舊 OAuth Token

1. Windows → 控制台 → Credential Manager
2. 找所有以 MicrosoftOffice16_Data:OAUTH2… 開頭的憑證
3. 刪除它們
4. 重新開啟 Outlook，新帳號就會觸發「用瀏覽器登入 Google」授權頁

✅ 3) 用瀏覽器授權時確實 勾選 Gmail 權限

在 Google 的授權頁面裡一定要勾：

🎯 Read, send, delete, and manage your email

才會有 IMAP / SMTP 權限讓 Outlook 成功連線。

📌 何時會失敗？

你會看到：

• 「Couldn’t sign you in」
• 「We weren’t able to set up your Google account with IMAP」
• Outlook 不出現 Google 授權畫面

這些大多是 OAuth 2.0 登入流程被阻擋或權限不夠造成的。
