[研究] 遇到執行時期光碟檢查保護 SecuROM 7.x

本篇不是談破解，只是測試怎樣的情況可以順利執行使用。

最近把一本書附的原版光碟做成 .iso，一來是備份，避免頻繁使用，原版光碟刮壞；二來是桌機有光碟機，Notebook 沒有。

沒想到 ...
在 Windows Server 2016 上，啟動完全沒反應，不知發生何事情。
在 Windows 7 上，啟動說 "檢測到軟體模擬器存在"

根據提示的訊息網址去看，

SecuROM™ has determined that you are trying to start the application with an image of the original disc. Please be informed that SecuROM™ protected applications will not work with an emulated image of the original disc.

SecuROM 是一個保護CD／DVD版權的產品。

拿原版光碟放光碟機，偵測到已經安裝過了，執行程式，可以跑。
關閉程式，拿掉光碟片，再次啟動，又不行。
也就是該軟體在執行的時候，會檢查原版光碟是否存在。

隔幾天，連原版光碟也無法正常執行，大概和電腦中甚麼軟體衝到，錯誤訊息
沒有放入光碟，請放入原裝  "Peason Education 070212" CD/DVD

Google 查了一下，可以永 A-Ray Scanner v2.0.2.3 進行分析，果然是 SecuROM 7.00.00.0002 保護。

開始評估最近新安裝、可能衝突的軟體，一個個移除，才又可以跑。

(這是想累死正版、原版的客戶嗎？)

PS：後來在書本最後一頁內頁看到說，相容於 Windows XP、Vista、7。那 Windows 8、8.1、10、Windows Server 呢？

測試：光碟 iso (軟體掛載) + Windows 7 x64 真實機器 (另一台) + 直接從光碟啟動STAT_PC.exe

不能執行。

測試：光碟 iso + Windows 10 測試 (和 Windows Server 2016 同為 NT 10.0 核心)+ 直接從光碟啟動 STAT_PC.exe

可以執行。

測試：原版光碟 + 真實光碟機 + Windows Server 2016 測試 + 直接從光碟啟動STAT_PC.exe

不能執行。「工作管理員」中 START_PC.exe 出現一下子就消失了。

測試：原版光碟 + VM 環境的 Windows 7 x64 (真實機器 Windows Server 2016) + 直接從光碟啟動STAT_PC.exe

可以執行。
